It is very good to be relevant all the time and fight to be visible to people's eyes all the time, well that what the former idol winner from Umlazi township KwaZulu Natal Khaya Mthethwa does, he remained relevant ever since he won the Idol SA competition.
Khaya surprised many when he joins the SABC popular commercial radio station Metro FM as a broadcaster, Khaya was co-presenting the Sunday christian programme from 6-9am alongside Thami Ngubeni. When Metro FM revamped it line up last April, Khaya was unfortunately not part of the line up for the 2022/2023 season, in that case Mthethwa was left with no job.
Good news is that Mthethwa is back on airwaves. Khaya joined Joburg biggest commercial radio station Kaya FM broadcasting on 94.3fm. Khaya is set to start on Kaya FM this coming Saturday from 9am to 12pm .
Khaya is joining Kaya FM alongside Dineo Ranaka , Sol Phenduka and others joined the station and set to start this July.
