Tais Araújo:Posts such as truth Yesterday I had my first mammogram. It is amazing that everything that affects our health leaves us vulnerable, when it is something related to women's health, so ... wow, I feel so, but so vulnerable. Well, this text here is to say that even though I arrived at the laboratory full of fear, that only the worst possibilities passed through my head, only the phrases that I heard that mammography hurt, that was a horror, it hurt ... I'm here to give my testimony to women who like me feel the way I did, afraid, afraid and because of that they were postponing the exam: I didn't feel pain, there is pressure, but each person is one person, that was my experience. I left the exam thinking about the importance of always taking care of ourselves, not only in pink October, but from January to January and that self-care is far beyond skincare and even meditations. Going to the doctor regularly is also self-care. I would like to thank Rafaela do Alta Diagnosis of Botafogo here for all the care, attention and teaching for telling me every step she was taking and what she would do with my body. It was an intense day and even though I had a good experience, I left emotionally thinking that we still have many barriers to overcome. Overcoming fear, the pattern, the "absolute truths" as if life were to follow a primer. Simbora, girls, what life wants from us is courage!
