SAD: Makhadzi Roasted & Abandoned by her Fans for wearing ANC Regalia

Makhadzi was roasted and abandoned by her fans because she was dressed in ANC regalia. One of the most tedious aspects of being a celebrity is that everyone expects you to live up to their expectations. They want you to live the life they want you to live, but they overlook the fact that you have a personal life as well. Celebrities, like everyone else, have a normal life.

They have a normal existence outside of their occupations, which should be normalized as well, and they should no longer be treated as icons. I say this after Makhadzi's admirers abandoned her and threatened to unfollow her after she said she was honoring the President.

Local government elections are approaching, as we all know, and political parties are doing everything they can to entice voters to vote for them. They hold rallies and campaigns on a daily basis. Makhadzi was asked to an ANC rally to perform her wonderful songs as part of her campaigning. She donned knitted ANC regalia and tagged her photo or tweeted "Hounouring the President's invite" as a method of honoring the rally's invitation. So, in a way, she was expressing her gratitude for the President's support by wearing the ANC regalia. Here are some of her photos:

Makhadzi, as we all know, has a large number of supporters who are members of several political parties. Many people expressed their dismay after seeing these photographs, with one woman stating that she could not support a political party that is responsible for the country's high youth unemployment rate. Many people promised to stop following her because they enjoyed her as an entertainer or singer, not as a political figure. On social media, people voiced their displeasure with her, causing a firestorm. Below are some comments:

Makhadzi, like everyone else, has a personal life, thus I don't understand why she shouldn't wear ANC regalia. Aside from that, she wasn't campaigning for any political party; she was simply thanking the president for inviting her to the rally. We should begin to recognize that it is not necessary to focus just on superstars. We must remember that they are humans, and their personalities may differ from their professional ones.
