Clients of social media have been fighting on Twitter to get the experienced actor back on the show, but the popular competition has already made up its mind.
Symbols SA Judges aren't there for the right reasons. Ntsiki Mazwai, a GBV extremist and money manager, has been very open about how Africans have gotten westernized and are now lackeys to white people.
Mazwai believes that our neighborhood's VIPs have sold out to white people in order to have a plethora of successful ventures.
Mazwai turned to Twitter to share her feelings about the changes that have occurred on the Idols SA judging board. This is in response to complaints from viewers who have stopped watching the show because it is too taxing without Somizi.
Since Somizi joined the show as an adjudicator, the show's ratings have reportedly dropped significantly.
When viewers pledged to stop watching the show, they weren't joking. The appraisals have allegedly arrived in a desperate situation since Somizi's departure, leaving Unathi and Randal on the board.
The show's main shot at resuscitating the show, according to hip hop critic Lavida Nota, is to welcome Cassper Nyovest ready. Nota looks to be confident in Nyovest's ability to raise the rating as well as engage people.
It'll be inevitable before we start seeing ratings rise again, but until then, all we have are speculations on whether Somizi Mhlongo would return to the show or not.
