Crushing on a star is an initiation rite. Whether you're a die-hard Hollywood fan or barely keep up with celebrity gossip, there's a good chance you've found at least one famous person attractive. As a result, you can readily image how ridiculous it would be if you ended up marrying that person.
When Steve Harvey met his future wife, Marjorie Bridges, at a Memphis comedy club, he told her he was going to marry her. Whether that is true or not, it makes for an excellent Hollywood love story. Bridges and Harvey, a fashion blogger, have known each other for years.
She has been one of his most ardent supporters during his career's highs and lows. Following Harvey's previous two marriages, the couple married in 2007.
2. Nicolas Cage
Alice Kim, a 19-year-old aspiring actress, was working in a Los Angeles restaurant when one of her favorite stars, Nicolas Cage, stopped in for a bite to eat. Despite their age disparity – Cage was about 20 years older — the waitress and Oscar winner struck up a friendship and began dating shortly thereafter.
Cage and Kim married in 2004 and shared a son before divorcing in 2016.
3. Billie Joe Armstrong
Green Day's frontman and occasional Broadway star has a penchant for more than simply music. Armstrong met his utterly unknown wife in the traditional fashion: backstage at a show. He is also loyal to Adrienne Nesser, his wife of 25 years.
Armstrong and Nesser currently have two children.
4. Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose
Amber Rose had previously established herself as a model and artist before to meeting Wiz Khalifa. However, she was a rather large fan of the rapper in her own right. They met in 2011, struck up a conversation, and began dating. They married in 2013, shortly after the birth of their son.
Despite their mutual love of hip hop music and one another, Rose and Khalifa were unable to make it work. In 2014, she filed for divorce.
5. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon
If you were a child of the 1980s or 1990s, it's nearly certain that you were familiar with and adored Mariah Carey. Carey gave birth to fraternal twins on their third wedding anniversary in 2011.
Regrettably, the couple split in 2014 and eventually divorced in 2016.
6. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
She met Tom Cruise, whom she had lusted after as a teenager, in 2005. Soon afterwards, the two embarked on a quick — and at times strange — relationship that culminated in a grandiose 2006 wedding. Following reports of marital strife caused by Cruise's Scientology commitment, Holmes divorced her celebrity husband in 2012. She presumably also removed any remaining photographs of him from her walls.
7. Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen
When you're one of the world's most recognized models, finding a date is probably not difficult. However, Gisele Bündchen did not meet her husband, Tom Brady, until their mutual acquaintances arranged for them to meet on a blind date. Before the two met, the Brazilian beauty made it abundantly known that she was interested in the Patriots quarterback. Brady, to the surprise of probably no one, was also not adverse to pursuing a relationship.
