Somizi Mhlongo's estranged husband Mohale Motaung took to Twitter to respond to questions about his unregistered marriage to the Idols SA judge and reality TV show star.
Mohale responded to tweeps questions about his marriage to Somizi not being unregistered with home affairs on his social media. This comes after he trended over the weekend after City Press reported that his marriage to Somizi is not legal.
It all began when a tweep tagged Mohale in a tweet asking him: "How can you forget to sign? You fumbled the bag".
To which Mohale replied: "The day I bump into Angie Motshekga".
Another tweep then replied and explained what he meant when his tweet got lost in translation.
"Education system is fu**ed up."
According to this tweep, Mohale meant that he didn't get proper education to understand that he needed to sign the marriage certificate to secure the bag from Somizi.
The country was shocked to hear that Somizi and Mohale never legalized their marriage as the pastor forgot to bring the papers on their wedding day in January 2020.
Sources close to the estranged couple told the publication that the non-existent marriage certificate has caused a delay in their divorce proceedings and that Mohale now has to provide evidence that they were married.
