Babes Wodumo is a successful Gqom artist who has had her fair share of drama when it comes to her love life but now it looks like everything is going well in her love department as it seems her father Welcome Simelane has finally accepted her relationship with her man Mampintsha.
It seems like her father has finally warmed up to the idea that his daughter is happy and in love with Mampintsha ,Welcome once said he doesn't approve the relationship his daughter has with Mampintsha because he said the artist had put a spell on his daughter.
This happened after the physically abuse incident between Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha ,but fast forward to now the couple have sorted out thier issues and Mr Simelane has accepted thier relationship and he is happy with couples romance.
Reverend Simelane was recently spotted in Mampintshas upcoming new music video in Elamonti,The new song is a song that features Babes Wodumo and Professor and it was shot in Lamontville -Durban,Babes Wodumos father was there supporting his daughter and it was clear that he has made peace with his son- inlaw .
It seems Mr Simelane has finally given the couple his blessing as he was all smiles and laughing with the couple during the music video shoot. The loving dad opened up in a recent interview that he was there to support his daughter and he had no problems with Mampintsha and he trusts that his daughter is old enough to make her own decisions.
Mr Simelane opened up and said "I will always support my daughter, Supporting her means I support her decisions and her music. She is a grown woman now. I can’t choose who must be part of her life. It is not my decision if Mampintsha is part of her life or not. My job is to support my daughter. "Said the Reverend.
We are happy that there is finally peace in the Simelane family even though the Reverend has not always been a fan of the couples relationship as he once accused Mampintsha of bewitching his daughter in a live interview. We wish the family all the best as they have made peace.
