Thuli Phongolo also known as Thuli P is a South African actress turned DJ. She first burst onto the scene on Generations: The Legacy playing the role of "Namhla". She has since been in quite a few shows including The Wife on Showmax. She is a mover-and-shaker in the best way.
So what is it that has her all riled up? Apparently the answer is men.
Thuli P is never one to shy away from speaking her mind, it is unclear what exactly made her so upset. She took to her Twitter to write, "The ability of a man to walk into a woman’s life and ruin it so effortlessly is not spoken about it enough! They come for EVERYTHING… your confidence, your intelligence, your relationships with others, interests, your career… all of it!"
Now we can only speculate about who Thuli is talking about. She is someone who is private about her love life and many times people have guessed that she is dating DJ Maphorisa. Neither of them have ever confirmed this though and it has remained a mystery. Could it be that there is trouble brewing?
People took to her comments to disagree with her or to speculate over who she was talking about.
One user wrote, "But women like to leave good man like @DjMaphorisa and go for players like that guy aii"
While another user wrote, "Should we tag Maphorisa for you?"
A final callous user wrote, "Men pursue women and women accept who they want. Good men are often overlooked, because the ones with red flags are more interesting. At the end, it is women who make the choice."
I don't think anyone can say for sure who Thuli was talking about. But I found it quite odd that men were in her comments trying to subvert the point she was trying to make. Instead of hearing her out they were invalidating her experience. Sometimes, you don't need to be defensive, you just need to listen. I hope she finds clarity and peace about what is bothering her.
