Breaking News: Karima Brown dies
Feisty journalist and broadcaster loses her fight with coronavirus. Brown, who has been in hospital for over a month has sadly passed on. The news of her passing was announced on Thursday morning.
Brown, leaves behind her son, husband and sisters.
Brown was currently the host on enca on Sundays for a programme called The Fix. She was also a respected commentator and political analyst for the channel. She was at some stage hosted a show on talk radio 702.
Brown’s passing comes with a mixed bag of reaction as he was very controversial in her reporting and analysis. Following the passing of the former minister in the presidency, Brown was lambasted for starting talks on who should replace Mthembu, hardly hours after his passing was announced.
Brown’s fight with covid19 took a turn for the worst last Sunday when she was put on a ventilator.
Brown also had public spats with political parties such as the enca due to her analyzing of the party.
