Sophie Ndaba-Lichaba, Soapie star actress and businesswoman, has found herself in a close role as she is struggling to save her businesses from the pandemic. After the bank that funded her company attempts to recover a loan, the actress who has lost weight as she struggled for diabetes will lose her truck.
Ndaba-Lichaba is using the lorry to transport event equipment to Sophia Trading (PTY) Ltd., its event management business. In the court paper, which also released that she had an unbundled debt in the size of R685000 by the protection for the main loan that was provided to the company in February 2015, the legendary actress purchased a Hyundai Mighty workhorse for her company.
The car bought with the loan is the applicant's until all the financial obligations against the applicant are resolved by the first respondent. The first respondent is entitled to ownership and use of the vehicle unless the first respondent is in default.
