The award hosted SA's Most Famous Actors and actresses at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center in Johannesburg on Saturday. Many were in attendance, but few went home with individuals awards, while some with coupled awards.
Thembi Seete was honoured with the outstanding couples award for her role in Gomora. The 44 years old, came out as the best dressed female celebrity as her outfit was unmatched. Her social media page caught fire after she was spotted with the awards in a post where she thanked her supporters.
On a seperate occasion, the Gomora star Thembi Siete after winning the award for Outstanding on Screen Couple and looked sexy in a sparkling gown with feather detailing, spoke for the first time about the lost of her number one supporter, mother Rebbecca.
The 44-year-old actor and musician was a guest speaker at the Sowetan Women's Club, where the spirit of sister hood is trending, as readers, celebrities and influential people celebrated the paper's 40th anniversary through Toi Moi.
The Gomora star recalls some of her mother's fondest memories and how she helped create some of the most memorable Bum Shaka images. There were no dry eyes she poured her heart and tears out in grief of her mother.
