Former Generations actress reveals that she has contracted COVID-19, but the fans think otherwise


The South African DJ and influencer Thuli Phongolo has released an official statement with regards to her health that has caused a major disastrous virus. According to the statement, she has sadly contracted the COVID-19. As well all know the effects it has done on the world in the past two years and by the looks of things, it hasn’t stopped. There has been a list of celebrities that have come out with regards to the deadly virus and that’s when they’ve warned their fans about the severity of the side effects of it. Hence, people have been urged to get vaccinated as that will decrease the chances of contracting it. 

When it came to Thuli, it was a matter of her health coming first. Despite being booked for the weekend to entertain thousands of fans in different venues, she didn’t leave everyone in the dark and had to explain the reason behind canceling her shows. After she tested positive for Coronavirus that’s when she needed to take some time off to recover by isolating and taking all the medications prescribed by her doctor. Unfortunately, to her surprise, certain people on social media didn’t believe her statement. As they accused her of ‘faking’ her sickness and they wanted proof of the test results. Some even claimed that this was an alleged paid promotion from the government to spread the lies about the virus. After there were reports about the fourth wave that’s on the way. “Thuli Phongolo cancels all weekend gigs due to testing positive for Covid-19,” said Musa Khawula on Twitter. 

Through it all, the former Generations: The Legacy actress has stated shown gratitude to everyone that has taken their time to show her love in this trying time. Also, she stated that she doesn’t have the severe symptoms of the deadly virus and she’s recovering well. This was an update on what’s currently going on in his life. “The love I’m receiving from my family, friends, team, brands, and followers is beyond me! Thank you so much… I’m not horribly sick but I’m definitely fighting the virus! I appreciate YOU all!” wrote Thuli on her Twitter account.
