"I first had to get comfortable in my own skin", says Muvhango's Kgosi

Tebatso Mashishi who plays Kgosi Mulaudzi on SABC 2's soap opera Muvhango is a talented actor, writer and rapper who goes by the stage name Prodykal Son. On the Soap opera he is a son of a rich businessman whom he just found recently. 

Tebatso explained how it wasn't easy to get where he is toady. He first had to get comfortable in his own skin in order to bring authenticity to any role given to him and convince audience. 

He says his acting abilities are overshadowed by the politics of his skin. He has to go to auditions that needs someone who is black, while he has albinism condition on top of being a black man. 

Before getting into arts Tebatso was a science student. He then found himself and decides to switch to arts and drama . His mother didn't understand him at first and as a result she didn't attend any of her performances after he enrolled as a drama student at TUT. He then pleaded with her and she was impressed with his performance and everything else was history. 

Tebatso doesn't dream of working with any actor or director with big names.He wish to work with people who are passionate, people who will not restrict his performance but rather enhance it. According to Tebatso big names do not guarantee his growth as an actor.
