She's a child of Florence Mkhize, who was the late anti-Apartheid activist and she was also an African National Congress (ANC) veteran. MaMkhize was married to Sbu Mpisane, however, they called it quits in 2019. They were able to have two children within their marriage, namely Sbahle Mpisane and Andile Mpisane. The family lives in one of the elite places within Durban and that's La Lucia, the north suburb of Durban. She bought a multi-million mansion that stands out within her neighbourhood. She has to keep it with 24 hours security and even an electric fence.
