Former Metro FM midday show presenter Pearl Modiadie, the real Black Pearl is demanding R3.5 million from the SABC and Metro FM program manager Anthony Soglo for sexual harassment. The media personality finally got the courage to speak out about her experience after it was picked up by Sunday World. She now wants this matter to be dealt with.
According to Pearl, the Former Metro FM and SABC manager allegedly made inappropriate comments that made her uncomfortable and that he made his sexual innuendos about her body. It is reported that Pearl filed her complaint at the high court last month.
She also alleged that the SABC had failed to act accordingly against ''Soglo’s sexually aggressive behavior and innuendos'' towards her.
We have also come to understand that she was employed at the station for five years as co-host of Lunch with Thomas and Pearl until recently her contract was not renewed earlier this year.
