He plays the character of Neo Mokhethi who one would never want to mess with and is currently battling with cancer on the mentioned show. He is not only battling with the disease on the show but also in reality. Jerry Mofokeng is not someone new in the entertainment industry. He has been in the industry for a long time and has appeared on TV shows such as 90 Plein Street, Isidingo, Mama Jack, Mr Bones and more including Scandal.
Mofokeng has put pen on paper and wrote a book titled I Am A Man to educate the public more about him, his career, his battle against one of the deadly diseases being Cancer and more.

"I have shared very intimate details of my life. From my childhood and career to battling Cancer. I believe people are going to resonate with the stories as it will prove that we all human and we battle through though situations", Mokeng added.
It is good that Jerry has written a book as there are many that still needs to be educated about Cancer especially the type of Cancer that continues to claim the lives of many men in the entertainment industry. His book is needed and mostly by those who just found out about having the disease and not knowing how to live with it or survive with it on each and everyday.
