Mzansi celebrities who have nice bodies because of dancing

Bontle Modiselle

She began her dancing career by attending dancing activities, including dance classes led by cchoreographers She made her debut appearance in the entertainment industry as a music video model and an occasional dancer. Modiselle appeared on numerous videos from notable artists such as Major league djz, DJ Tira and Ricky Rick. The dancing scene introduced her to the acting industry, as she made her film debut on the dance-drama Hear me move.


Somizi

His debut choreography work was on the musical film Sarafina! He choreographed many prominent events including the opening and closing ceremonies for the international football association FIFA for the 2010 hosting in SA. Mhlongo choreographed various award shows and events including Miss SA, Metro FM Music Awards, SAMAS and the Channel O Music Video Awards. He also danced, and was a choreographer for the gospel choir Joyous Celebration.


Takkies

She started dancing when she was nine and joined a hip hop and modern studio. She then studied ballet, Spanish and jazz at the art school Pro-Arte For Dance. After matric, she and her friends created a hip hop dance group called Cadence. She now has created an innovative dance workout concept and a first in South Africa called Rockingnheels, a dance fitness in heels.


Kamo Mphela

Her passion for dancing started at an early age, when she accompanied her father who worked at YFM, and at events where she would perform on stage and dance which eventually led to her getting more exposure through live performances. She later became popular by posting videos on Instagram where she displayed her dancing skills.


Chomee

She started dancing for Arthur Mafokate's 999 Music from the age of 10 and released several albums under the label: First Time, Twice as Nice, Fantasy, Queen of Dance and Songstress.


Khabonina Qubeka

As a professional dancer and choreographer, she has hosted and been a judge on numerous television dance reality shows - SABC 1's Dance Your Butt Off, eTV's Step Up or Step Out. She also choreographed The Channel O Music Video Awards.


Denise Zimba

Zimba fell in love with the stage when she was very young. She used to be a backup singer and dancer for Jozi.
