Veteran actor and GBV activist Patrick Shai has contributed immensely to the entertainment industry and society at large. It was reported on the 22nd of January that he committed suicide at the garage of his house. Family and close industry colleagues are going to be bidding farewell to him today as he is going to be laid to rest. Join us as we unpack more of the story below.
A memorial service was held on Thursday and his wife described him as someone that was very selfless and dedicated to his craft. She futher stated that he always had their backs no matter what, especially when they were at their lowest. The funeral service is expected to take place at the iconic Soweto Theater from 08:00 - 11:30 today.
