We all thought this issue was done a long time ago, but it seems we still have a long way to go. The ongoing battle for royalties has been in the news and social media once again between Zahara and DJ Sbu. And once again it has attracted Mzansi’s attention following the latter’s written by each party and the comments over the issue.
To give you a back story of what is happening, the battle for rolakties between the two has been ongoing for a few years now. It involves Zahara, who is a popular South African vocalist. She accused Dj Sbu of refusing to pay her for the Loliwe album. Understandably so, Zahara made some of her best music in that album and arguably got her big break from it.
And just as we expected, Dj Sbu has once again insisted that he owes Zahara nothing. The country and fans of Zahara are not happy with him and his response.
In his comments, the music producer said he had never and would never seek to profit from Zahara. And still claims his innocence.
