Bujy Bikwa reportedly released on bail and ordered to stay far away from Boity

Socialite Bujy Bikwa has reportedly been released on bail. This is coming after the former radio presenter now podcaster allegedly assaulted Boity Thulo. It was reported that the rapper got hospitalised, while the podcaster spent the entire weekend in jail.

Well, he has been released on on R2 000 bail following his appearance at the Midrand Magistrates court today. Bujy was apparently denied bail on Friday and it was postponed to Wednesday. Thulo was not present for proceedings. The case comes after an alleged altercation between the two that turned violent, and saw Thulo sustain injuries to her face.

They were drinking and talking about sangomas and ancestors before an argument started. I am not sure who started it but they were screaming at each other and swearing before they started fighting,” the witness stated. Other witnesses had stated the feminine rapper who was clad in a white shirt had bloodstains throughout her face and shirt.

“I could tell he was becoming agitated, but I did not think he would take it that far. Before he attacked me, he said ‘let’s see if your ancestors will protect you’ and proceeded to throw a glass on my face,” said Boity

The feminine rapper posted a statement on social media, but deleted it. Regrettably, we got hold of every word before she took it down

In that statement she said :

Dear all, It is with deep sadness to state that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of a vicious physical assault and that I have since opened a case against the culprit, which I am following with a keen interest. I do not wish to comment on this matter any further (at this time),” wrote Boity on Instagram.

She further went on to request some space to deal with her traumatic ordeal.

“I respectfully request some space as I try (to) find a way to heal both physically and emotionally from this traumatic experience. I have all the faith in our criminal justice system and implore everyone to stand firmly against GBV. Sincerely Boity Thulo,” she added
