Winnie Mashaba is a multi-grant winning South African gospel performer, TV moderator, and finance manager. She was brought up in the little town of Kgoši Phasha, Steelpoort, South Africa.

Dr Winnie Mashaba went to class at Mashupje High School yet exited not long after passing Grade 11 out of 1998 to seek after her enthusiasm for gospel music. Her first break came just after she tried out for Solly Moholo. Not long after the tryout, she delivered her introduction collection, Exodus 20 (2000). Winnie Mashaba has been named for various honors, remembering a Kora for Best African Spiritual Female for 2005. Different honors incorporate the South African Music Awards (SAMA), South African Gospel Awards and Metro FM Music Awards. In 2010 she was named Best Female Artist at the Crown Gospel Awards. She handled a TV introducing part on Dumisa in 2017.

In November 2019 she got an Honorary Doctorate from Trinity International Bible University (TIBU) for her work in music.
