Thembi Seete and Zolisa Xaluva got their flowers on this year's Royalty Soapie Awards which aired last night (October, 2 2021)! There's no couple that puts on a good act like these two; Gladys and Melusi on Gomora, which plays on channel 161 Monday through Friday! To see their talent and efforts being recognized gives me joy! Getting this award will only improve their acting!
Thembi's speech left so many people emotional. Not only did she acknowledge her on screen husband, but she also mentioned the cast, including her on screen son and house help Ntokozo and Zodwa. For her to do that shows that she's aware that for their craft to be phenomenal, is a result of those around them who also give it their A game! At the end of her speech, she lifted her award and echoed "Shona, look at me now," because he's the one who encouraged her to take up the role of Gladys!
Thank you ❤ #Royaltysoapieawards https://t.co/iKvbg5RDii
For Shona to be associated with such a win is another reminder that he did his part; he inspired entertainers and gave them the push they needed to reach their full potential! Wherever he rests, he must be proud to know that his hard work and encouraging nature has resulted in a well deserved win! May he continue resting and blessing the acting industry!
As for Melusi, he too deserves his win because he is one of the most talented actors in South Africa and for him to receive his flowers while still alive is beautiful to see. He's underrated but this award is the perfect decoration to his brilliance!
Congratulations to the duo on their well deserved wins!
Finally Thembi Seete and Zolisa Xaluva got some recognition .They have been doing phenomenal work for years now on our screens #royaltysoapieawards @changed_names
