Meet celebrities that the world almost lost

A lot has been happening in the entertainment industry since the world was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Celebrities have been separating, giving birth, getting married or engaged moving to new places or countries and some even lost their lives.

South Africa is currently mourning the death of celebrity, Luzuko Nteleko after he recently lost his life. Luzuko Nteleko was a former Muvhango, Isidingo and Zone 14 actor.

On Muvhango, he played the character of "Lwazi" and he died from Brain Cancer that he was diagnosed with back in 2019.

Some celebrities have gone through the worst while others are still going through trials as the country continues to battle against Covid-19 but all are lucky to still be alive. The world almost lost certain celebrities because Mercy said No for them and they made it alive. Meet celebrities that the world almost lost.

1. Pebetsi Matlaila

The world almost lost, Pebetsi Matlaila known as "Mokgadi" on Skeemsaam when she was giving birth. Mzansi's actress almost lost it all including her new born baby that she was giving birth to because of Pre-eclampsia, a condition that continues to target the lives of pregnant women and their unborn babies.

2. Lioness

Namibian Queen of Rap Music, Lioness was almost lost as well. She came out of an accident whereby a car had a tyre burst and rolled three times. The celebrity made it alive and had no serious injuries as well as other people who were in the car.

That was not the only time whereby Namibian, Lioness was almost lost as an artist or celebrity. She almost lost her life due to Covid-19 after being in contact with a person who had it. Lioness survived after staying in isolation and taking necessary measures for the virus.

3. Sophie Lichaba

The world almost lost former Generations actress, Sophie Lichaba who once played the character of Queen Moroka. Mzansi's celeb, Sophie has been in and out of hospital battling against high sugar levels.

Lichaba went through a lot with Diabetes. She also suffered from depression and even lost her weight to such an extent that everyone thought it was the end for her. Sophie has made it through it all and continues to be grateful for life.
