Hlomla Dandala is a South African well known actor, and presenter. He has been in the entertainment industry for decades now, and is still going strong. He didn't take it really well when he found out about Patrick Shai's death. This can be seen and heard through a video he posted on Instagram.
Dandala is Patrick Shai's recent colleague. They are both currently on The River, but their characters had not yet crossed paths. It was reported that earlier this morning, Shai took his own life. Details as to how exactly he ended his life have not been disclosed. Reasons to ending his life have also not been made public.
Earlier this week, Patrick Shai trended on twitter after a video of him challenging Cassper Nyovest into a boxing match was released. He again apologized to Cassper Nyovest a day later. His video was highly criticized, and people were talking as they pleased. Hlomla Dandala has taken to social media to talk about how toxic Twitter is. He spoke about those who wanted Shai canceled, and said they have now gotten what they wanted. Some people on social media have said they think his suicide had to do with a number of things, and not necessarily what people were tweeting.
