It seems Focalistic and de Mthuda were no show, they left Live Amp hanging. The music show quickly alerted their viewers even though they didn't go into details as to why the two artists couldn't show up.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, de Mthuda and Focalistic could not come through to perform tonight. We apologize for any inconvenience 🙏🏿."
One would wonder why Focalistic didn't show up, his social media gives clues as to why he didn't make it. According to his last post on his social media, he's currently in Cape Town busy touring the country in a private jet. He recently released his EP titled President Ya Straata, his single from his EP 16 Days No Sleep has been well received by his fans.
On his last post he stated how exciting it was being back on tour in his home country.
"Feels so good to be back on tour ! Doing my country duty... service delivery of di vibes mo straateng 🔥 which city do you wanna see us do next?
It seems performing on the SABC 1 music show was not part of his plans, there was no indications on his social media of him performing. Viewers stated that Live should give deserving artists a chance to perform, stating that up and coming artists should be given a chance as well. The Real Young Stunna was Focalistic and De Mthuda's replacement and according to some viewers he gave out a good performance.
