April 2022 saw a couple of big changes happening at Metro FM, new presenters were introduced to the station while we also saw the return of some old faces. But Metro fm introduced us to it's newest newsreader Zandile Hopa.
Some will probably know her from Y-FM because that is where she was previously working before joining the South African Broadcasting Coperation(SABC) and Metro fm as the weekend newsreader. Hopa studied at the Boston City Campus where she was studying communication and media from 2010 until she graduated in 2013. She then landed a job at Wildcoast fm in the Eastern Cape where she worked for only 10 months as a news reader before she joined Y-FM in December 2017.
She worked at Y-FM for over 5 years as a newsreader before leaving to join Metro fm as the weekend newsreader, she reads the news on most of all the Metro fm weekend shows, she brings a lot of experience to the station as a news anchor.
