The Unexpected: An overly emotional Zinhle is taken off guard by Pearl's baby shower surprise

An overly emotional Zinhle finly comes to terms with being pregnant

We're nearing the end of Zinhle's reality and coming closer and closer to the core of her issues. One of which, was finally accepting that she is about to become a mother all over again. It seemed throughout the show that she was trying to let people know but I'm starting to believe the process was really for herself. It was about accepting her currently situation and her reaction to the baby shower.

Last week her friends were wary about Pearl throwing her a baby shower. They were ready to tip toe around this request but her best friend was NOT. Pearl was as determined as ever to throw her a party and it made sense. Babies are meant to be celebrated and their mothers need to be Pampers. But Zinhle started to cry so much I felt bad for her.

She was overly emotional as Pearl showed her the "lowkey" baby shower in her enormous closet. (On a side note, that closet was stunning!) She was sat down and the waterworks began. Zinhle seems a little stern and closed off emotionally but not during this latest episode. She was expressive and crying at the gifts she received.

I suppose it makes sense that Zinhle would be in a state of disbelief. She was probably not expecting to be bombarded with love and support. Sometimes I think we underestimate how life altering a pregancy is. The impact it has on your body and emotions is huge and even after the birth, this remains true.

But she still soldiered on, heading to the studio highly pregnant to work on a track with the father of her baby, Bongani and Nokwazi. They looked to be vibing together which can only mean a track as fire as "Umlilo" is coming and I'm excited for it.
