Longwe, the son of music legend Chico Twala, was on guard the day Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead.

Meyiwa was shot and killed at the home of his better half and his mother, artist Kelly Khumalo, in Vosloorus, Gauteng.

Last month, attorney Zandile Mshololo, who turns to Fisokuhle Ntuli, one of five men accused of killing the soccer star, said a 2019 agenda suggested the indictment of Longwe Kelly Khumalo. , Gladness Khumalo (Kelly's mother), her youngersister Zandi Khumalo, Tumelo Madlala and Mthokozisi Thwala (Meyiwa's companions) and Maggie Phiri, a neighbor accused of cleaning up the crime scene.

Mshololo said the charges on the nextagenda were for manslaughter and overcoming equity closures. In recent times, Longwe has had some controversy with his father over his drug episodes.

In January 2020, Chicco delivered his sonto Diepkloof Police Headquarters in Soweto for allegedly theft of his partner's cell phone.

In a video clip that became a web sensation through online entertainment, Chicco said he wished Longwe would be ruined in prison, assuming he was the person who killed Meyiwa.

However, Chicco is currently more reconciled with Longwe after his son's struggle with drugs for nearly 10 years.

"Chicco is thrilled that his son is a different man. They had a heart to heart (conversation) as father and son, and Longwe is ready to confess Senzo's death, "a source familiar with the matter said.
