The top three of the most-watched and loved television shows in South Africa have been finally revealed and surprisingly SABC 1 is still leading with its show, Uzalo. Uzalo has been breaking records from the get-go and it keeps getting bigger and better. People love this show because it accommodates both township lifestyle and eKasi hardships, with that being said, people relate to the Uzalo storyline.
The second show that has been getting bigger and better is Gomora. Gomora and Uzalo have something in common, these shows accommodate both people who live in suburbs and people who live in ekasi and it gives those in the suburbs exposure to how people who stay in ekasi hustle and make a living.
"The biggest shows in the country is Uzalo, Uzalo, Peaks around 7-million viewers. The biggest show on DStv is Gomora, Gomora peaks around 1.5 million. Uyajola 9/9 is huge and hit no.1 on DStv only in September, it's certainly the most successful Moja love show ever" Reported Kgopolo.
