When we talk of suck legends of music in Zimbabwe and Afica, we can now include legends like Oliver Mutukudzi. Those are people that have lived the competition of that time. These guys are great, you talk of the late Hugh Masekela and all these old guys the guys that are still living like, Thomas Mapfumo, they have worked the music industry when things were hard, not just for certain particular countries, but for Africa at large.
These are the legends that are well-known throughout Africa. This guy that we are talking about, he is a bass guitar player. He is well-known for his number one song that has been trending and it is a classic of all times, Kuwirirana Kwevanodanana. This old man is a very famous musician in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.
if you want to verify him and his popularity just recall the wedding celebration that he had at Rufaro Stadium. It was attended by over 50,000 people. Even when the teams are playing in this stadium, it is very rare to can have those kind of numbers, but the he filled it, that's how people loves him.
So we are hearing the report that he is having healthy challenges, and has been calling for prayers from the fans over his healthy issues. He has always been the man of the people. So it wouldn't surprise me to see him making his sickness public, asking for prayers because, he has been a person that involves the people. He actually maintains a very good relationship with his fans. He is the kind of a guy that is a down-to-earth, and very friendly with everyone. A kind of a guy who is down-to-earth and treat everyone with respect. So we just pray and hope for his complete recovery.
