The news that, the gospel legend had passed away after long time diseases heard on sunday, and this was received as a devastating news after the video of her performing on wheelchair hit the social media.
Musicians, politicians, family and friends are gathered today, as they are going to lay her to rest in her final resting place.
Music giant Yvonne Chaka Chaka says the late Derba Fraser was a superstar who spread love all over the world.
The award winning gospel star Dr Deborah Fraser, who had been battling diabetes for years, died on Sunday in the presence of her family at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto.
The funeral of Gospel singer Deborah Fraser is underway at Stamford Hill in Durban.
