Johannesburg- The Covid 19 pandemic has costed us a lot, besides changing the way we live as we are now adapting to the new normal, it has taken away many people we love from us.
Since it started last year, so many people have died because of this virus and it does not choose who it takes. Whether it is a celebrity, politician or any person but it strike. So many celebrities have died because of the Covid-19. Others have been victims of it as they got sick.
We have seen some celebrities opening up on having contracting the virus. Others even got hospitalized as we have seen The Queen's actress, Thembisa Mdoda Nxumalo who was even in ICU fighting for her life due to this pandemic. Fortunately, she survived and was discharged.
One of the celebrities who have come forth to state that she has had this virus twice and still beat it is the Gomora actress, Katlego Danke.
The actress took to her social media to open up about how she managed to beat Covid 19 twice.
She was so grateful to have been given another year in life to live in such a pandemic.
Katlego recently celebrated her 43rd birthday and that is where she expressed her gratitude to God for giving her another shot in life after she beat Covid 19 twice.
“This next chapter is all about taking flight. I woke up with a heart full of gratitude. There must be a reason God saw it fit that I celebrate one more year on this planet after two bouts with Covid. I am blessed. To still be here. To still be healthy.
To still be able to pursue my dreams and purpose with all I've been given. I am in awe of the Almighty. Thank you for another journey around the sun. And all the amazing humans who have touched my life in different way," she wrote.
We are happy she survived.
