Who murdered Jenny Schechter finally revealed. Andwho could have thought.

Jennifer Schecter also known as Jenny Schecter is a fictional character played by Mia Kishner in showtime’s The L Word which is a lesbian centred drama about a group of lesbian friends who live in LA. Jenny first comes to LA to live with her boyfriend Tim played by Eric Mabius, at first she appears as a soft spoken, shy, innocent and traditional girl from the country side but as she starts talking about her short stories that have been published, we realise that she is none of these things she just has an innocent persona.

When Jenny moves to LA she meets a woman named Marina, the owner of the planet which is a lesbian hang out spot and they kiss for the first time in the bathroom. As the storyline continues Jenny is trying hard to deny her feelings but every time she loses her stance more and more but at the same time as she is trying to pull away from Marina the more she finds herself centred at her.

Marina and Jenny eventually start an affair and her now fiancée finds out about it as he finds them in jenny’s studio being intimate. Jenny’s character continues to develop but unlike most characters who go from being hated to loved she goes from being loved to hated as towards the end after she had her novel published and had her story bought to be developed into a movie she some what’s becomes kind of a lunatic and kind of crazy.

For the most part we see jenny being kind of manipulative as she adopts a dying dog just to put it down for her own personal gain. Between season one and two jenny becomes the real princess of darkness as Kit refers to her later on and though she still has all her friends most of them they are no longer as close to her as they were.

Season six starts off with the death of jenny as the police come to Bette and Tina’s now newly modelled house. On the last episode of season six, Bette and Tina are hosting a going away party and a house warming party and it turns out that Bette agreed to move to New York because she is trying to also get away from jenny.

Jenny has burned all the bridges that she had and as if it’s not enough she is just about to burn more with the only person who was now standing by her side Shane as Shane finds put that Jenny has been lying to her. So who killed Jenny, in Generation Q as Bette is running for mayor, Dani her now campaign manager asks her if there was anything that she would like to tell her she says that she had an affair and that a friend of hers died in her house pool by suicide.

Many of people were left with a lot of question marks but ten years later we get the most unsatisfactory answer. First I believe that Bette could have been the one who killed jenny but she was not the only one who could have had reasons to kill her along with Tina for all the work she did with Lez girls and it just disappeared and it turns out that Jenny stole it. Shane could have killed her for lying and all the manipulation and Alice could have killed her for stealing her script and they all had good reasons.
