Nkosinathi Maphalala AKA Nay Maps who played the role of Mxolisi on Uzalo is busy dominating the entertainment industry.Gates have opened wide for him and it seems like every production company wants to work with him. His debut on acting was in 2014 when he starred as Tshepo on Isibaya and now he is all over television.
He is famous for playing gangster roles, and he always nails the characters given to him. When he was on Uzalo, it was one of the best crime shows , Mxolisi and Mastermind (played by TK Dlamini) were the best gangsters in Kwamashu especially when it comes to cars hijacking and bombing of Atm(s).
He currently portrays Zenzele Maphumulo on Imbewu and Tshireletso on Muvhango.He joined Mzansi magic's new show Umkhokha and he announced that he will be on brand new Netflix film 'Little Big Mouth' that will air on the 20th of October 2021.All the characters he plays are interesting. Fans were so amazed when they learnt that he is also fluent in Setswana language, on Muvhango.
AT first people criticized the fact that Nay Maps is everywhere and they thought he was occupying space that should be reserved for some new faces, but at this point nobody is still on denial. It is clear that Nkosinathi Maphalala deserves to dominate the industry because he is the best that people wants to see.
He is not the first one and neither is he the last one, talents are still to be discovered and fans are still going to be amazed, but now it's Nay Maps' time, let him shine. The fame and the favor are the results of hard work. Wherever he goes he leaves a mark, Uzalo's fans will never forget there was Mxolisi. His fans are excited and will surely tune on to watch him on Netflix.
