Mzansi celebrities continue to battle against mental illness. Another media personality has come out informing the public that she is currently battling against mental illness.
Melanie du Bois is a South African media personality known for previously being an actress on 7deLaan that airs on SABC 2. She played the character of Felicity Daniels. She is popular known from appearing on a comedy drama called Soap on a rope. Melanie is currently not doing well and needs prayers as she is battling against one of the deadly diseases being Bipolar disorder. Things are worse for her that it is even difficult for her to wake up and continue living each day.
Melanie du Bois opening up about her mental illness battle and struggle said, "I don't feel worthy and to hear it from everybody else what I'm thinking in my head...I suffer from a mental illness and in my head,i tell myself I'm not good enough. I can't go on living. It's a battle for me to wake up everyday".
"I'm already so hard on myself so when i go on social media and people say i have ugly hair or my teeth are crooked, it breaks me because i beat up myself already", du Bois added.
Melanie comes after media personality and professional nurse, Skolopad being Nonhlanhla Qwabe came out announcing how it is getting worse with her Bipolar disorder that she cannot even control herself anymore, had to be locked up for weeks whereby she is still locked up. Being able to wake up each other especially when it's difficult and continuing to live is a win. Melanie is therefore a strong woman for continuing with her life even when it's not easy for her to do so. May she continue winning everyday and live for long.
