Prince Kaybee dropped a bombshell on Twitter

It’s not easy being an entertainer, since people can easily change their minds about you and your work. One minute they love you and the next minute you’re dragged online for different things that don’t even concern you. Many people forget that celebrities are also human beings and they take things to heart at times. Hence, whatever you say or share about them, you have to be thoughtful of their feelings. This time around the South African DJ, producer, and record label owner Prince Kaybee has found himself on the wrong side of social media. After he was trolled by a certain Twitter user and Kaybee didn’t take that likely, as he responded in a way that many fans least expected.

The initial tweet of the Twitter user stated that Kaybee’s song “Club Controlla” was a “trash song”. This came as a shock since the particular song that’s being trashed was the song of the year; as Mzansi acknowledged it as their crossover song. “Club Controlla was definitely a trash song @PrinceKaybee_SA angfuni ungatsho,” said Samela Samz on Twitter, sharing her two cents with regards to Kaybee’s work of art. This ended up causing a stir on Twitter, as Kabillion’s loyal fans didn’t sit this one out. They felt that the whole statement was uncalled for and bias. Also, they stated that he should speak for himself since they love Club Controlla until this day.

In response to the whole debacle, Kaybee said, “You guys don’t like me period, if there isn’t a d**k pic or beef between me and someone y’all just attack my art. It’s fine though.” Oh well, his reply did touch a lot of his fans, hence, they advised him to not pay attention to haters. Since hate is part of life, especially if you’ve reached some sort of success in your industry.
