Kelly Khumalo says she won't osu back the money that the South African Heroine's Awards paid her to perform.
Founder Carol Mosiamo demanded the 30k that they paid Kelly to perform at the awards in Bloemfontein on 28 August. According to. Carol, Kelly Khumalo was to perform before 9pm because of curfew. She arrived at the venue but went back to the hotel that they booked for Kelly.
Kelly Khumalo's manager came out and stated that Kelly was to perform at 9pm but whilst they were waiting for her turn to perform the venue was shut down due to the covid regulations and no one told Kelly.
He said 'Kelly won't pay back the money. There was a lack of communication from. Carol's side. We spent alot of money traveling to Bloemfontein, and did her a favor by giving her a discount. I will definitely not allow her to perform for free'
However the founder felt like she did not perform and she needs to give the money back. Or she will take legal action again Kelly Khumalo
