A few months ago Robert Marawa left the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) after the completion of the most loved sports show Marawa Sports Worldwide which he presented on Metro FM and Radio 2000 simultaneously.
Today a strategic partnership between Sportscaster Robert Marawa, the digital daily newspaper Sowetan, two regional radio stations Vuma FM in Durban and Rise FM in Nelspruit.
Marawa Sports Worldwide will be streamed live every Monday to Friday in the three platforms simultaneously. In terms of the format, Marawa will stick to the old format of the show that won the Best Sports Show at the SA Radio Awards this year.
Marawa chose to partner with Sowetan because the newspaper has been a sort of a sport bible for him in terms of sport and football coverage. Growing up, Marawa marveled at reading sport articles written by accomplished writers like Molefi Mika, Sello Rabothata, and the late Meshack Motloung and Louis Mazibuko.
The MSW show is set to begin Monday from 17h30.
