Mothers tend to hold families together. Grief for the death of a mother is one of the hardest things we face in life, but nearly all of us have to face it at some time. Gugu Gumede is a South African actress who is well known for portraying the character of a prophetess, Mamlambo, in the soapie Uzalo.
Actress Gugu Gumede took to her Instagram page to post a picture of herself and captioned it “first pic since my angel mommy’s transition. this is the greatest pain i’ve ever felt; but i marvel every day at my strength.” Her followers where quick to comment on the post and offer their condolences.
One follower said:”T your mother was a heroin, your mother was a woman of integrity. A faithful woman who's caring for those who are in need. Who was down to Earth who developed a number of people more especially the women of kwazulu-natal. She was our role model, she walk the talks, she was a brave woman in every area of her life. I salute her, I really salute her. May Her soul Rest In Peace. RIP Njinji you may not be recognised by many but those whom you touched are recognising you in silent, they don't have a right platform to praise you, to praise the work you have done but we salute You.”
The late National Freedom Party leader, Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi passed away last month at Umhlanga Hospital in Durban.
