RHoD: "The storyline is so predictable" viewers comment on the reality show
While you're here, please follow me.
I really look forward to the episodes of The Real Housewives of Durban. Be that as it may, I concur with the general consensus on social media that the show is pretty predictable.
The only thing that drags us back to watch is the drama that unfolds amid the predictability.
Every week, one lady hosts an event and the next thing we know, there's already a new one planned for the week ahead.
Before all that though, there are meetups to reflect on the previous event and gossip about who did what and how dramatic and unexpected it was.
And sure enough, Nonku and Thobile are usually the tea topic because they serve content without even trying.
With how things are happening in a monotonous fashion, I can't help but assume that the production scripts out the reality show for us and only lets the ladies throw rants here and there for relevance on social media.
One viewer analyzed the trend and wrote, #RHOD The script of this show is very predictable. Have an event; all (cast members) attend... Next day each meets their faves and discuss/gossip about what went on. while together again... One announces the event. They all get excited for the event... Attend the event... Next day meet their fave... discuss the event Elsie88981066
This was echoed by Fulufhelomu who wrote, "Season 2 is dry. the new ladies (JoJo and Londie) plus Annie are boring. There’s no content. "
tshego_magano chipped in similar sentiments, "RHOD is so boring. My word"
Thoughts? Do you find the reality show scripted and a bit boring?
