Dj Sbu had to fight for years to get shelfspace at PnP to sell 3 energy drinks. But B already got a bigger shelf space at Woolies before the launch
After Bonang Launched her new project, a lot of people are questioning whether she own the brand BNG or she's just the face of the product. Since most people want to be enlightened, Bonang owns House of BNG brand and she licensed the use of the brand to a Winery to have them produce her MCC,a smart business move as it means she doesn't have to be involved with the day to day of production and Logistics yet she reaps the reward of profit sharing. And should her business relationship with the company that currently ferment her bubbly deteriorate, she can always license the brand to another Winery to ferment her bubbly as it is already an established brand with a huge customer base.
The MCC brand that produces is not the name of a company. Any champagne-like product that isn't made in Champagne, France cannot be called Champagne. That's why other countries call it sparkling wine. In SA it's called MCC(Method cap Classique). So in a nutshell, Bonang owns her Champagne it's just that certain restrictions are against her.
