On February 10, 1995, Keamogetswe Trudy Leburu was born in Kagiso, a slum west of Johannesburg, South Africa. Her mother died in 2004 at the age of 9 and her father died the following year at the age of 25. When both her parents died, Kea was taken up by her grandparents and nurtured. Keamogetwe Leburu is currently a free man and lives in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was born and raised.
Kea Leburu acquired her passion for netball while attending Bosele Primary School. Mosupatsela High School followed, where she completed her metric. In order to pursue her dream of being a professional actor and dancer, Kea enrolled at the Market Theatre Laboratory. Check out her photos below:
