The crown gospel Awards make a return

Gospel Awards are back and ready to celebrate artists, groups and producers who have kept the praise and worship going in a good and bad times.

They are words are in their 14th year now and even though that pandemic slowed down the celebrations, the music hasn't stopped and now they are ready to celebrate music accident and cause pain.

The 14th annual crown Gospel Music Awards have unveiled the nominees for 2021 via social media live streaming hosted by founder and executive producer Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule.

" we are grateful for the number of entries received to attend to the growth of the current Gospel Music Awards," Zanele says.

" it is time to celebrate the gift of Music and honour the outstanding work by the gospel industry. Fans can show support and stand behind their favourite artists by voting for music that touched their souls."

This year, Nqubeko Mbatha, Xolisa Kwinana made it to the list of nominees. Ndi Vho Ndila singer Takie Ndou begged six nominations followed by Ayanda Ntanzi and Xolly Mncwango with five nominations each.

The newcomer category sees Gershom Mntimande, Kgaogelo Kekane, Xolly Mncwango, and Icebolakhe Lingenjwe turning up the volume to claim a crown.

Voting lines have been opened and gospel fans can cast their votes by sending their favourite artist nominee code to 34062. SMSes are charged at R1.50 per vote as they like.

They awards will then be broadcasted on 28 November 2021 on SABC 2 at 20:00 and screamed on YouTube and Facebook platforms.
