DJ Chase was pleading with Johannesburg court on wednesday.
According to statement from court Chase and the popular Dj entered into a verbal agreement that they will work together producing a number of songs and how they will share the money.
Chase was suppose to receive proceeding made from the song recorded as, he was a composer and a song writer.
He claim that they produced songs from an album called "Ganyani house groove 7" back in 2010.
Chase demands 50% share of royalties on the songs he produced "Remember and "Not so far" FT Maleh.
He is also gunning for royalties in the 2013 Album "Ganyani house grooves 8" . He is demanding 33% royalties from "Ditty be there ", 35.7% "Xigubu" featuring fiesta black, 50% from "Something like FT Cristyle,"satisfied" FT Terry Leigh, "What a feeling" FT Khumbuzile,"Feel it" FT Anne including "remember mix" FT Khumbuzile.
Chase tried to get answers about the royalties, from DJ Ganyani and associates. They told him they can only pay him R1400. However chase said they never disclosed account details of money owed to him.
Chase wants the court to force Ganyani to disclose the royalty details of the account from Universal music.
According to a source the legendary DJ was "shocked" to know that Ntshwana took the legal route.
Ganyani has been paying Chase but at some point he stopped because they both decided to change the royalty "calculator" due to the fact that it was way too expensive said a source.
It is not the first time DJ Ganyani is involved in a court battle with an artist.
Coupler years ago he took Nomcebo to court. Nomcebo who is well known for doing a track with Master KG called "Jerusalema"
He accused the artist of accepting gigs and shows without the permission of the stable.
