There is a dark cloud hanging over Amapiano artists as death is always following them everywhere they go.
Sipho Mbonambi known as Mfana Kah Gogo is a 17-years old South African artist who is new under the Amapiano artists. Mbonambi hails from Kwazulu Natal and recently landed in Johannesburg. It is his first time being in Joburg and it seems as if he is here for his music career as his latest announcement was about him having signed his first deal with Sony Music Africa.
Sipho on his social media account which is on Instagram said that being in a plane and coming to Joburg felt like a dream whereby he would be woken up by his grandmother not knowing that his journey to Joburg will end with an accident. He met with an accident while travelling in a car with his team.
Sipho shared a picture of a car that they were travelling with after being involved in an accident and gave thanks that no one lost their lives and no one got injured.
"Sbonge ukuthi umuntu usaphila ne team yonke ayinalutho",Sipho said which means he is grateful to be alive and that the entire team did not get injured.
An accident has already taken lives of some Amapiano artists such as Killer Kau and Mpura. The two got involved in an accident while travelling to Rusternburg for music purposes and lost their lives. That's not all, another Amapiano artist being Sabelo Zuma was hit by death, lost a loved one and could not go ahead with performances that were scheduled during the week whereby he lost a loved one. All of this has happened in a short period of time, Amapiano artists indeed need prayers. It seems as if there is a dark cloud hanging over them waiting to strike and claim lives.
