Cynthia Shange is one of the first modelling black beauties in SA
Did you know that actress and model Cynthia Shange (72) holds two records in the South African entertainment industry?
Well, if you did not know, she was the first black woman to represent SA in the Miss World pageant in 1972 and made history by appearing in South Africa’s first-ever black feature film titled Udeliwe. The actress, known for her recent role as Mama Buthelezi in the SABC 2 telenovela Muvhango, got into modelling in 1970 and was successful almost immediately.

There is clear evidence that parents can and do influence children. There is equally clear evidence that children's genetic makeup affects their own behavioural characteristics, and also influences the way they are treated by their parents.
Role of parents: parents are the child's first role model. Children behave, react and imitate same as their parents. Parents play an important role in encouraging and motivating their kids to learn. Good parental support helps the child to be positive, healthy and good life long learner.
Nonhle Thema is a successful woman. She has already accomplished a lot in life. According to me, raising the highest achieving children will necessitate being intentional, disciplined and diligent. Imagine what your child's future would look like if he or she had the ability to persist in the face of challenges. Apparently, how you model your own persistence as a parent has a lot to do with it.
