Welcome to my channel, you can kindly follow by using the follow button, today I will be talking about Tumi Morake to host an all-women comedy show in SA.
Tumi Morake has left her home in Atlanta and traveled all the way back to her homeland of Mzansi.
In honor of Women's month in South Africa, the famous comedian will preside over a comedy concert including only other female performers.
Tumi and her family relocated to the United States at the beginning of this year, and after performing in a number of different countries and cities, including Finland, New York, and Doha, she is prepared to take on South Africa once more.
Tumi will be joined on stage by Angel Campey, Khanyisa Bunu, Lihle Msimang, Lindy Johnson, Nina Hastie, and Tracey-Lee Oliver for the performance that will be known as "Laugh Mosadi" and will take place on August 13 at the Theatre of Marcellus in Emperors Palace.
"There's no place like home, but I missed the women back there," she said. "There's no place like home." I was nostalgic for the comediennes, and I missed having a good time with them. And I feel that throughout a significant portion of my career, I worked in an environment where there were not many female headliners. You did not have a large number of women available to put on stage or participate in the festival. In addition to that, she shared with TshisaLIVE that "people would pay tickets to witness these women and that's the kind of skill we're talking about."
