She is the third woman from South Africa to win the title, and the first black woman since Angolan Leila Lopes was crowned Miss Universe 2011.
She has left many with the profound words "take up space", which they have been running with ever since. People highly fely Zozi was robbed her opportunity to fulfill her title duties because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but she will not be forgotten!
It came as a surprise to one twitter user today to find out that Zozibini had a doll made that looked just like her. It is heartwarming to see the stereotype being broken that we know dolls to be white and it should stay that way.
If these are measures taken to remember Zozi as the queen that she truly is, then so be it!
