Moshe Ndiki Confirms Split from hubby Phelo Bala

Moshe Ndiki and Phelo Bala were, without a doubt, one of Mzansi's most popular gay celebrity couples. The couple has been married for two years and has made headlines for all the wrong reasons during their time together. Their relationship had been tumultuous, and the cops had to step in at one time. They have previously dealt with assault allegations and breakups, but it appears that they have called it quits for real this time. This isn't the first time the celebrity pair has split up. They parted up in 2019 when Moshe allegedly struck Phelo with a candle stand, resulting in a bleeding gash.

Several clues that they were no longer together have surfaced recently. Moshe hadn't been wearing his wedding band and hadn't been posting about Phelo on social media. It's no secret that the couple was head over heels in love and couldn't be separated. Phelo appears to be having a hard time dealing with the breakup, as he has disabled his Instagram account. Moshe, on the other hand, has been enjoying his single life and continues to post powerful content on his Instagram account. The TV host stated that their marriage had dissolved in an interview with Isolezwe.

He expressed his desire to remarry like a former spouse since he enjoys marriage and affection. "As a previously married person, I intend to remarry because I adore marriage and love." "The issue isn't love or marriage; it's people," he explained. Phelo and her husband recently celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary. Moshe was on holiday in Zanzibar with his friends at the time, and it appears that their relationship had already taken a turn for the worse, as he did not spend Phelo's birthday with her. Instead, he shared a photo of his vacation with his admirers, while Phelo gushed about him on social media.

"Congratulations on your 2nd wedding anniversary, @moshendiki. I'm amazed we've made it this far... I believe you don't realize how capable you are of dealing with someone like me until Moshe informs you. I'm a zealot and a gentleman at the same time. I'm laughing with you sometimes, and I'm completely incorrect other times, but you do your best to keep us going. I genuinely adore you! I pray that God keeps you close to me in time to see His glory in my life," he wrote in the caption.

We don't know what caused their breakup this time, although Moshe was accused of attacking Phelo in 2019. Moshe defended his identity after the assault charges were leveled against him in a statement shared on social media in July 2020. The TV personality refuted allegations that he assaulted Phelo.

"These are private concerns, and I have been informed that I cannot share anything since there are judicial procedures," the statement continues. "However, at this time, I would want to state that I have not mistreated Phelo in any way, and I have proof to that effect." Phelo apparently secured an interim court injunction against Moshe, prompting the statement. Moshe alleged in court filings that their relationship had grown quite toxic over the last few months, with Phelo beating him on multiple occasions. He said that Phelo had a drinking problem and that he always got into fights after drinking.
