Trey Songz is facing fresh accusations of punching a bartender, just a week after it was revealed that the 'bottoms up' singer will not face criminal charges for his physical altercation with police at a Kansas City NFL playoff game earlier this year.
According to TMZ, Trey Songz is being sued for battery by a Hollywood Palladium bartender who claims he was working at the bar during Cardi B's Fashion Nova launch party on May 9, 2019, when Trey jumped on the bar to sit and watch the show.
The bartender says Trey ignored his warning not to sit on the counter, so he placed his hand on Trey's back to get his attention, according to the complaint obtained by TMZ.
That's when the singer reportedly turned around and closed his fist on the bartender's head.
He then proceeded to watch the show while staring blankly at the other bartenders.
The bartender argues that the alleged attack caused him physical pain, as well as emotional and psychological harm, and he is suing for damages.
Owing to a lack of evidence, the prosecutor in charge of Trey Songz's alleged altercation with police chose not to press charges against him.
